    Should be worth a watch just for old times sake.
    It’s on BBC from 3rd Feb and Priestley is commentating.
    Hoping to be 10 ex world champs playing.
    Names of note …. Lowe, Taylor, Part, Deller,Painter, Jenkins, Manley, Scholten and Lim.

    Personally, John Lowe was always my favourite… he’s 75 now

    Good line up is that. Phillip Douglas Taylor should win it still. His level of dedication to be the best cost him good relationships with his daughters and his marriage. Even when he had grandchildren he was the best in the world not getting distracted by family. That's the difference between him and MVG who's been nowhere near the player he was before he became a parent.

    Taylor is clear favourite but last time I checked he was 6/4

    Eric Bristow was always my favourite but sadly he won't be there. A few other greats from that era have also left us like Jocky Wilson and Leighton Rees.
    Still my favourite darts era with the great Sid Waddell on commentary.

    Got to admit though that the standard of darts nowadays is way better.
