"Rabbit in the headlights" is exactly what I think when our head coach does interviews. Not his fault, and I have a certain amount of sympathy for him but he's the opposite of what was required to get the best out of the players we currently have at the club. The decision makers at Barnsley fc are clearly clueless!
Picked it up from my kids: definition-angry or resentful, especially in response to a defeat or disappointment. "she was salty because I didn't go with her to her senior prom
Still cannot comprehend how bad we were against a 10 man league 1 side… it was worse than a under 5’s team. And nearly as many goals. How they cut apart our “defense” was beyond ridiculous. If anyone thinks we’re going to stay up or win this cup must now realise that it’s over….
You should have read his programme notes. It made the press conference that Poya did not knowing who will leave, not knowing when players would be brought in and not having a clue when players will be back available look like he was giving too much away. I hoped he would give us some words to encourage us and tell us the plans. Instead in short his notes mentioned.... Barrow making history reaching round 3. Covid with the festive postponements. Foodbank collection. That's it. Nothing about our league form, keeping hold of players, plan to bring some in to keep us up etc.
I wouldn't call Cole an awful l player We need to get behind Devante because as frustrating as he can be at least looks like he wants to score goals and could do well in league 1.
