If you were disappointed with todays result, perhaps you didn't go to Altrincham, now that really was dog poo-poo.

I didn’t say everything was fantastic, how the fek do you come to that conclusion. Just because things are going badly, wanting us to lose is pathetic, we weren’t good today, but the facts are, up to their 1st goal we were in control and untroubled by their attacks. We never went behind and could’ve had another 3 at least with both Remy’s 1 on 1s with their keeper, and Morris had a 1 on 1 with him as well. I struggle to remember a game where we had as many goal scoring opportunities. Full credit to Barrow, after their 1st goal, they played with a good spirit and belief, but they were not unlucky or hard done by

That line was written to make a point that Barrow hadn’t basically had a look in up to that point and the first goal was the catalyst for their brilliant effort. Come back with another clever line will you?

I understand peoples frustration but I’m not sure where the ‘Barrow were unlucky’ line many have trotted out comes from.

They had 4 shots on target, all went in, from 2 bits of horrendous defending and 2 brain farts from Walton. They created nothing and on another day would have got banged 5 or 6 nowt.

Their only tactic seemed to be to try and injure as many reds as possible. And it doesn’t look like they even managed that.

Doesn't hide our own problems / deficiencies of course. Just find the narrative a bit strange. What’s the opposite of rose tinted glasses?

Almost exactly this, only I’d say we could and should’ve had more. Barrow were neither unlucky nor hard done by.

It would have been more accurate, under the circumstances.

As I mentioned in the subsequent messages (which seem to be ignored!) it was used to describe the season to date which when you factor in 2 league wins tells you all you need to know!!
But yes to describe today's win we will go with pathetic winners :D:D
