Confidence booster for me, a reminder to the players that they CAN score goals and a reminder that they can't defend for toffee....

Only we could manage to stick 5 past the opposition, win and fail to have our confidence boosted…but yeah, I would go for demoralised

Have to say demoralised based on what i watched and our fans reaction to the result look at the difference with how Luton took care of business today against 2nd division Harrogate.

Got to be demoralised. They've shown they can't defend against one of the smallest league two sides with 10 men.

Demoralised, can't see how any professional player can take confidence from struggling past a 10 man league 2 team that hadnt scored in 5 previous away games.

Piss poor, going nowhere with the current set up.

A set of players with their confidence shot to pieces. Losing a two goal lead against ten men from a team two divisions below us and embarrassingly scrambling through 5-4 isn't going to give them or us any sort of boost.

Confidence booster. Heads didn't drop. They continued to battle even when the lead kept being pegged back. Barrow well up for a cup upset. We didn't let it happen.

You would hope that Morris and, to a certain extent, Cole got a confidence boost. Cole didn't play well but scored a gem. Morris oozed class and scored two. They're strikers, they're paid to score goals, they did and neither, despite Cole's all round performance, can be blamed in any way for what happened at the other end.

I hope we start with 4-4-2 again in the next game, albeit with the wide midfielders on the proper side.

    (What's the proper side?

What foot do you prefer to kick with lad?
    My left.
OK, you're playing on the left.

    It's really not difficult.)

And I hope we start with Morris and Cole up front. Even though I don't rate Cole, he scored so you give him another game.

As for the rest, I dunno. They won, but many of them were dreadful and, unlike with Cole, they didn't have a redeeming feature.

We'll see I guess. If they play like they did on Saturday again they'll get murdered. Hopefully they don't want that to happen.

I think the 4th round draw would have wiped away any lingering positivity. The cup's supposed to be a release. Drawing a team from the same division away is demoralising. You want lower league at home or a big boy away. That said we'll likely beat them in the cup and lose there in the league.

The lads got out of a difficult situation with a gutsy win. It should be a confidence booster but if any of them read what's written on here they'll be collectively topping themselves on Monday morning. Cut them some slack for christ's sake.

I couldn’t help liking Vita. Yes, he could have bagged a couple of goals but he put the effort in and showed plenty of skill. How it’s taken this long to get in the team is a mystery and he certainly deserves a couple more opportunities at least.

He doesn’t get signed by Bayern if he’s no good.

Demoralised unfortunately. A win is very welcome but the chaotic manner of it cuts across that.

I'm on this as well - quite impressed that despite winning the game twice and throwing it away we didnt give up and went on to win and we did have a few players out - also I think had Collins played or Helik and we dont give away the free kick so Banger doesnt score the screamer we would have sauntered home 2-0
