Good article on the Chron website:

Interesting to see some academy lads named as hot prospects. Always like to hear who the next to break through might be!

Winfield sounds like he's been doing well in Denmark - wonder if it's worth recalling him? Or maybe him and Wolfe might come back into the fold for next season if we go down.

Does anyone know who the top talents in the U23s are? I see Dyer Jr is still here, and Marsh has gone quiet since his injury. Hopefully Bayley Hassell comes back at some point

I've been following Jordan Helliwell's progress with interest, as I grew up in Ryhill at the same time as his Dad. I'm hoping he can break through. His loan to Esbjerg was cut short, but he's playing regularly in the U23 setup from the looks of things.

Last season’s Academy POY Hayden Pickard, think he’s either only just 18 or not quite 18, has featured in the u23s. His mum tells me a few clubs sniffing around him but she wants him to sign a pro contract with us. (if offered of course) She doesn’t drive and lives out South Elmsall way so Barnsley is the best option for them at the moment

Aiden (Marsh) is doing fine and was due in cup squad last weekend but he caught the virus. He’s back in training today
