Since when have we had a thing where discussion of anything on TV gets hidden away?

In its own little shitty forum? What happened to the good old days of the BBS being about anything?

There's no wonder that threads hidden there get on average about 3 replies

 

As you know, I don’t watch tv (or very, very rarely) but I agree. Anything and everything should be on the main part of the board.

 

Whenever I watch something new on TV I always think of you and I'm always in awe of how you hardly watch it

 

It's so people can look for suggestions of what to watch without trawling through a thousand pages looking for it

 

Isn't that what IMDb is for? The BBS is a discussion forum not a directory. Using that logic we should have a forum for music because that gets discussed on here regularly but it should be hidden away so people can find music suggestions. Restaurant suggestions, pubs etc.

I think you're onto something here you know. As I now only visit Barnsley sporadically, I find the options on Uber Eats a bit threadbare. Last time I relied on google reviews (after much googling!), and went with China Court down Mapp for my Chinese needs. Glad I did! But a takeaway directory on the BBS, with regular contributions from our culinary enthusiasts, would be much better!

 

There's no need to be so disparaging. It's something new and it's a bit different. I think it was created as a bit of an experiment, to see if folk like it. You can still post on here about tv shows - anybody who says different is talking cobblers. For what it's worth, I like the concept. Time will tell if I actually watch anything listed there, but if nothing else it's reminded me that I still haven't watched Breaking Bad.

It’s a good idea but for a simple person like me who hasn’t got much of clue about how to do things on the internet,how the bloody hell do you put an article on it.

 

Scroll down to bottom.
Click Post New Thread.
Then click the red link to Movie Database.
Search for the show you want.
Click on the search result to get to the show.
When your show is in view, copy webpage name from the top of the page, then paste it into the appropriate place in your BBS thread.
Once your show is linked, you can type your comments as usual. You will appear as the first reply.

Simples! Even a daft old goat can do it.
