Because we are bottom of the league and a team we had 21pt head start on has just gone above us in the league a big well done to the board, CEO, the two jokers of head coaches we've had this season and yes the players as well because they bear some responsibility for this complete **** show of a season.
We’ve gone below Derby. A team that had a squad of nearly nobody, a transfer embargo lifted only enough to make them stick to a strict salary cap. Unable to offer any long term deals and no weekly salary over 8k. A team who are having to release players they still want as they’ve been given another embargo and have literally no money. A team deducted 21 points. And they sit above us in the table. Not one player Derby brought in would have cost more than our wage structure allows. I know this has already been mentioned in other threads. And we knew it would happen. But it doesn’t half hit home just how rank awful the decision making has been at Oakwell. It is the stuff of nightmares.
And yet they still don't learn....... 'young and cheap' is still the motto coming out of the club, even in this transfer window. Some people still think we have made progress this season since Poya came in, it's absolutely baffling how anyone can even come to that conclusion.
Because some people refuse to see the wood for the trees, smell the coffee, and wake up to the fact the complete Fuckwits we have running OUR club simply don't know what the hell they are doing. They've managed to toss away every piece of luck and good position theyve had since they've been in charge and Cryne junior is just as culpable as the 80% mob in the ridiculous notion that covid had nothing to do with them being unable to sell players last summer and it was all down to playing style. The whole upper management from Headcoach up to board of directors need to be cleared out.
The flukey appointment of Big Val last season must have made the 80%ers think their methods were right all along so why should they change?
I might be to blame. I caught a train once with a young rich, entitled young man. He was very modest. Perhaps too modest. I explained to him that experience didn't mean 36 years old collecting your pension. We both laughed as I said 150 games under your belt is just as good. He never stopped smiling. Perhaps he knew sumat I didn't.
It's just one inevitable in a list of sad inevitables that will hit us this season. The next question will be: will we buy anyone, followed by: will we sell anyone, followed by: after which game will we be relegated, followed by: will we finish with the lowest points total in a Championship season. And then we'll be relegated and the question will be will these owners clear off, and I suspect they won't, not with a whimper anyway. It will take some serious wonga at least.
