    I wouldn't get your hopes up.

    In a season when we sign a 'Dike replacement' and he's played about 15 minutes by January and made no impact, we release our experienced defender and shoehorn in a youngster who isn't ready and occasionally drop him into the midfield quagmire for good measure, are already below a team with a 21-point deduction, have scored 16 goals in 24 league games, and had to assemble a SWAT team to work over Christmas to get the RR+ vouchers out because no team seemed to have been assigned the task at the beginning of the season, and closed the west stand for [insert half-baked reason here], I really can't see us forking out on a star man at this stage to save this campaign. We are finished this season. Chalk **** on it and prepare for League 1 amigos. At this stage it's about damage limitation i.e. trying to keep some quality in our squad to give us half a chance of avoiding a double relegation next year. You reds!
