Good point when you put it like that. Stilk think its wrong to ban and call club arse lickers to anyone who dares ask a question on the subject.
Exactly, and same as @icer said, it's rich them wanting the board out for lack of transparency etc and they can't even answer simple, reasonable questions on Facey to fellow fans in a locked group. I can just imagine new CEO Martin Nettleton being grilled by Loko and Gally. 'So Martin, about this 750 pounds that's been used, allegedly club funds, to bulk buy jaffa cakes from cashco...' On any serious topic, the zoom call would no doubt conveniently lose connection. Wouldn't last 5 minutes when they're already ducking questions and deleting them before they're even 'in power.'
I’m now starting to wonder if this is even a real person. I highly doubt there’s two Martin Nettleton’s in Barnsley, and this one claims he only got involved because he knew how to setup a Facebook group. Funny given he only joined Facebook a short time ago.
I disagree. For a start, I don't get the impression the Supporters trust want Comway out. But enough people do to start campaigning. I agree though that to be a success eventually all.groups need to be as near to one voice as they can
I agree Gally, but we live in a nation that voted for Brexit without any viable alternative in place, so totally not surprised. I expect I’ll be omitted from the group soon when I submit a thought/question that doesn’t sit well.
I think its disgusting someone with a false name, being allowed to voice an opinion to all and sundry and people dont know who he really is, sounds crazy that this can happen
I personally don't think any supporters group needs to be directly engaged or 'on board', unless those supporters are directly needed to mobilise the change of ownership, e.g. fan ownership. I get the general spirit of 'stronger together', but I'm not sure how practically relevant it actually is, in terms of any effort to 'get Conway out'. If I was an investor, preparing a serious bid to take direct ownership of the Club, I wouldn't be seeking endorsement from any supporters groups. I might do some independent research to gauge fan sentiment, but that would probably be about it. I'd be making direct contact with the owners, through the CEO, and entering commercial negotiations based on a solid business plan. Despite what people personally think about Conway, Lee, PMG, New York Capital, they are serious, professional, experienced investors. Anyone wanting to go up against them is going to need to be the same.
Sad state of affairs. In general, politics, religion, race excepted, most BFC fans groups, this included want the same thing. A harmless way of keeping abreast with all-things-BFC and giving opinions and listening to like-minded fans. If PMG's strategy is to divide and conquer, I would say they are meeting their goal at present. Meanwhile, on the pitch...............
Are we to infer from that, that all other admins in that group didn't know how to set up a Facebook group? But they are capable of aiding the removal of a bunch of businesspersons, who, whilst they may not be very good at running a football club, do appear adept at the smoke and mirror legalities of making money and moving it about. But setting up a Facebook group was technically too much?
think their strategy is to live within the clubs means, sad as this is, it might end up us finding our level in league 1 with our 8-10 thousand fan base
Unless they get their heads out of their butts and sign some experienced players league 1 will be a luxury
lets hope we do pal, but as I said we only have a certain amount of money, these experienced players will want 5 grand plus a week, that 1/4 million a year, our season tickets only fetch in 2.8 million
I don't know if it is credible but I also ask is the present board credible they don't seem to be doing a lot to rectify the present situation
