    One thing that Khaled said yesterday about a pre-Poya appointment inquiry, was one man approached was asking for a salary of 1-2 million a year. Wonder if that happened to be the coach that ended up at Middlesboro by any chance.

    Someone told me they'd been told that Warnock has stated he'd have come and managed us for the rest of the season for nowt such was his love of his time here. Basically, saying it was the best time of his playing career and he always loves the banter when he comes to Oakwell. Dunno if it's the truth as I didn't hear it first hand but makes you wonder what might have been.

    Warnock left Boro the same week Schopp was sacked I think. There were plenty on here saying we should give him the job.
