    Technically you're right Helen, but in Hemsworth back in the 70s and 80s (the constituency I grew up in) they would have voted for a Chimp if it wore a red rosette. Also an awful lot of people vote tactically, so they'll vote for whoever has a realistic chance of beating the party they really don't want to win - nothing to do with the candidates. It really is time our "democracy" moved on from the 16th century and into the modern world.

    Having seen some of Wakeford's social media output (one where he called Labour the C word), I think Starmer was wrong to welcome him aboard and should definitely not allow him to stand at any future election.

    I saw somewhere yesterday that the MP who defected to Labour did so because he was being blackmailed over funding.

    Changes to constituency boundaries should be abolished altogether. It's a means of trying to rig a vote.

    As should whips. MPs are put there by their constituents, and should be voting personally, and not per pressure be it peer or party
