But we know that's not going to happen before a court case is heard. If he stated what we all perceive to be the case, he'd surely harm his defence, wouldn't he?

Edit: And by the way, I agree with you. That should be the first step. But we should know with a fair degree of certainty, having asked them multiple times and getting the same line again and again, that he isn't going to shift his story as it would prejudice him.

I'm struggling with the humour/ malice angle.

There may be "deception" in that disgruntled supporters are being cajoled into falsely hoping there's a viable alternative to the incumbent ownership.

Can those calling "hoax" explain how "Conway Out" fits the above definition?

... but I'm unsure of the relation between the £4m deferred purchase price and £6m Championship-status contingent payments.

Was there originally a potential additional £10m which PMG (well, the club if that's how they planned to pay) owed, which was renegotiated to £3.5m?

How much do the Oakwell Holdings accounts show PMG as having paid?

I have no idea where the £6m comes from, if there was a contingent purchase payment the accounts of BFC and Oakwell Holdings both omitted this which would not be correct. The accounts of Oakwell Holdings only ever show a £4m outstanding. The debate has been around the £4m and £3.5m.

The accounts show the payment of the original £7.2m

And there is an undercurrent of entitlement on this board, and it is very cliquey.

The Mods on here are treat like demi-gods. Anyone who disagrees with one is piled on by their loyal band of hangers on, agreeing and liking all their posts as they clamour for favour from the almighty mods of the BBS.

Then we have the chief of all gods whom 90% of the people on here fawn over and like, like, like all their posts, and that's is our Lord, Whitey.

Anyone who doesn't agree with the Lord, his Viceroy Gally and then their underling Mods is treat to a barrage of abuse and put-downs by those desperate for some sort of love from the higher ups, it's embarrassing really.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the question re the £750k asked at the previous CEO event/s and then this? This time he had a written text to relay and before that at the previous one, did he read out a text? It's not asking the organ grinder directly, I know, but it's still 3 requests for clarification.

I wonder, and I don't know the set up or the people directly, but would it be worth involving Archerfield or Sheriff (if they were willing) to directly out those questions to him (if he appeared) and give them a bit of free reign to delve if he engaged with it?

I know it's asking things of the people at the Supporters Trust and involves time on your part, but I think there needs to be some leadership on how this may all unfurl, and I can't think of an organisation whos purpose and reason aligns more, than the supporters trust. It's not my place to ask anything of you, its not fair of me to do so.

But if the facebook group falls apart, and there is little sign of a cohesive force to hold out club to account... I'm not sure who else can pick up the reins.

 

Have you not seen the amount of arguments Loko gets into with people on here? I've seen a few having set tos with him over various debates... how does that fit with what you say? Hardly demi gods

Gally on the whole isn't as prominent on here as some of the other mods but given he bankrolls the BBS and tends to stay out of any controversial threads I think it is understandable he is well thought of and people have little to criticise him about???

Would it be possible that the £6m does in fact relate to a performance-contingent payment unrelated to the purchase price? Or do things not work that way?

If the 80% owners aren't apparently willing to answer the Crynes' correspondance on this as has been hinted, I can't think fans will get the answer we deserve. Deliberate obfuscation would seem a likely mode of operating by PMG, in this observer's opinion.
