Was our first away win of that season, and first away win in 9 months. Clutching at straws a little maybe, but it's been a good place for us to get a result when we've needed it in the last decade.
Was my bday, quite a few of mates went wi us for day out. Pi33 up in Solihull before. Then Davies smashing in 4 goals. About 8 of us dancing round with shirts off seen all over sky tv. Not a nice site. Everyone watching it on telly texting us to cover moobs up
295 - I've no idea why I remember that, all bunched in a corner. Went with a couple of non-barnsley supporting mates who were (along with me) adamant we were going to be the ones getting battered, on account of the fact we'd not won at Birmingham since the play off game in 2000 and had started the season terribly. We battered them in the first half but Jack Butland had the half of his life. Then the second half happened. Then got back to uni digs and went on a night out with a Villa supporting mate who bought all my drinks. Best day ever!
Watched it in the Stirling Castle Pub in Bridlington, turned out a great night as they were about another dozen Reds fans in.
It was on Sky, I was in Spain at time, everyone was like "Why his he cheering all time" in pub, Craig Davies scored 4 didn't he? Dagnell missed some sitters too
Craig Daaaaaavies scoring four in a half. A very exclusive club in our history. We dominated the first half and then second half we carried on dominating but got goals.
Remember watching that game in the pub after I had been at Tannadice watching United. An absolutely stunning performance from the Reds that night.
