    Hi everyone.
    This is a test post mainly for me to know how to post but also to assure everyone else that, despite the dodgy timing, I am definitely not Martin Nettleton in disguise!
    I’ve read the BBS for many years without joining but thought that this might be an interesting time to finally join and start to contribute a little bit.

    I’ve supported the Reds for over 40 years, going to my first game at Oakwell as a 5 year old in 1981 when we beat Bolton 3-0.
    My first real stand out memory was in the same season when we beat Chelsea at home. Not for the result but for hearing my Dad ordering a policeman to open the doors of the X19 bus to make sure we were safe while Chelsea fans were running and fighting through the bus station!

    For what it’s worth, I am fully in the Owners Out (not just Conway) camp but I am waiting to see how things develop before getting my hopes up.

    You know you're getting old when you're reading how someone has been supporting the club for 40 years, so you're picturing in your head an older gentleman (or lady), then you read "my first game at Oakwell as a 5 year old in 1981" and you're hit by the realisation that they're a good deal younger than yourself!
