It's impossible to pay attention to them. Even when you try your mind wanders off elsewhere. Very difficult listening to someone saying absolutely nothing.
Or maybe the players aren’t good enough? I think it’s unfair to say no impact at all. You don’t know what improvements have been made on the training ground in terms of morale of the players of believing in what he’s telling them. I think we’ve shown more than we were doing without getting the wins. He’s definitely improved is going forward (which wasn’t hard) but we’ve got zero goals in this team because we have no midfield.
Poya is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The guy is out of his depth. We haven’t looked like winning since he was appointed. In fact, his appointment is an insult to us Barnsley supporters. After the pathetic few months prior to Schopp getting the chop, they owed us a decent appointment, someone to galvanise the fans & give us hope.
WE ARE ******. FORGET IT. WE ARE UTTER, UTTER *****. When we sell our best players we are going to struggle to stay up in L1. Look at Bradford, Scunthorpe & Doncaster. This will be the last season ticket sadly. There are other factors as well. I really can't see us getting more than 25 points this season. which is pathetic.
I think it’s time we started expecting some of the more experienced players to step up a little bit. Styles isn’t a kid anymore. Experienced midfielder is obviously completely wrong, but he’s got a lot more experience of playing first team football than we give him credit for.
Played most of his games for us at wing back especially his better ones. Too weak for center midfield in championship. If i were the owners id try sign one or 2 midfielders in the hope we stay up 6 million plus more in revenue up for grabs speculate to accumulate and all that... but that wont happen.
He wouldn’t be too weak if he was put in their with the right player. As Khaled alluded to, we’re completely unbalanced with the type of midfielders we have. That’s before you even start talking about experience, leadership and talent. It was a criminal Summer recruitment wise, but the players at some point need to look at themselves as well. A few challenges that we haven’t won today - that’s not the sign of a team intent on fighting to survive.
I think there's a group on Facebook looking to pressure the owners to leave if anyone fancies adding thier support?
He could storm up and down the touch line shouting all day for me. He wouldn’t get this lot playing any better. In fact he’d probably look stupid and fans suggesting he’d lost the dressing room if he did it cos no amount of shouting is gonna sort this shambles out. He’s doing the right thing keeping it together cos A double act of Pep and Klopp would struggle with this lot.
And he’s been in around first team squads for over five years in the football league and played more games in League Two than Benson. Also had back to back seasons as a regular first team player.
I find it odd that your trying to diminish the group by illuding to the fact there are fake names used when your replying to me using a moniker, oh the irony.
2 awful appointments this season. Missed out on plenty of decent British based managers to get School the flop and then Poya
Its got so desperate that were clutching at straws with a facebook group to get shut of these clowns. Says summat that they gained 1400 members in a matter of days. Desprate times and it will most likely only get worse.
Not even close to being the same but I know you’re aware of that deep down. If you’re not aware why that comment is so way off, this ‘moniker’ links through to my personal Twitter account. I post links to articles posted online with my real name. 30+ videos online with my actual real face on. But you could compare that to starting a Facebook group and picking the name of a local businessman to front it, in the hope it gives you some credibility, that isn’t actually real. Have you thought about how bad that is? Folk were genuinely messaging him with ‘Hi Martin’ and ‘Thanks Martin’. He wasn’t Martin! Some people just call me Ben on here now. You could also find me supporting local charities running the Supporters’ Bar for the last six years of home games. Again, everyone knew that. Oh the irony……
