This appointment is an insult to us supporters! The guy is so far out of his depth it’s unreal!

Give the job to Devaney. No pressure as we’re dead & buried, & let’s prepare for next season in the ale house league.

Let’s try getting some passion back into the team.

    Embarrassing!

I don’t think there’s a ‘team’ left in there, the whole club is rotten and it’s showing, ultimately on the field, the back room staff all left, the CEO (general manager in all reality) left, there’s been 2 new managers this season that don’t seem to have any ability to impact performance - the owners are taking each other to court.

I think it was jay who said in other thread that the players don’t even look as they’re arsed, just turning up to their job, which is likely the case when they can see all the above - the fact they’re also not good enough has really resulted in the complete and utter shambles we are watching unfold weekly on the pitch.

Hondermarck to drive forward from midfield, or a useless defender, Easy option for most, but not Schopp or Poya.

I blame the groundsman, closely followed by the club cat.

Get most of the players out as well. Absolute cowards.

I can understand people's frustrations with the Coach, but let's be serious. He is not the problem.

    Most people know that.
However life goes on on the field.

Look at the state of Style's socks. We can't even get dressed properly!

    Nice finish from Victor.

This Summer broke the football club. It set us back 3-5 years in my opinion.

Issues like the £750k and Conway asking other clubs about potential ground shares, can sometimes be hidden and separated from on the pitch performance. Even the West Stand closure, as badly as it was managed, didn’t have to impact on what was happening on the field.

But the Summer was so poor, and the recruitment of Schopp was such a mistake, that I thought whoever coming in was facing a rebuilding job I can’t remember seeing since we started with Gudjon and a squad of about ten players.

Easy to point fingers at the manager but he’s obviously no clown. He’s been far more successful in his line of work than a lot of us have managed, and we wouldn’t like being called a clown because we’d know it isn’t true.

I don’t think Val gets much more of a tune out of these players but he’d have us fighting and out of the bottoms three, I think. The players need to look at themselves for why they’re giving the impression of going through the motions.

He's not the problem but I don't think he's the solution either. I watched his last match in charge of Sweden's U21s. Top of the group against inferior opposition, the bulk of possession and all they did was shuttle the ball from side to side creating virtually no chances and losing meekly to a last gasp goal.
I was hoping he was going to show something extra with us but I'm afraid it's not looking like it.

Lad looks totally haunted, the players have been hung out to dry by the club this season.

Well this is what happens when you fill the team with kids & expect miracles to happen. Yes there might be a lack of professionalism amongst the squad, but where is the experience guiding them? Where’s the experience coming from the touchline?

Sorry but the players aren’t to blame for this mess.

Can I respectfully disagree. That suggests that the situation was okay prior to last Summer. IMHO there hasn't been a single period of time that this Club has been soundly managed since the week in which the Owners took over.

Let me go a little further. I do not believe there is any possibility of the Club moving forward under the current ownership. Not a chance. They might get lucky with a particular appointment - they have in the past - but we are going backwards at an alarming rate and there is no other fix for that than their departure.

The players aren’t fighting for every ball, throughout every minute of every game. They should be.

But you’ve missed the whole point in my post. Only the last part mentioned the players - the rest of it was directed to those running the club.
