He would have been my choice in last 3 times we have been looking for a manager.

Just a proper manager who seems to get the best out of what he has, especially with limited funds. One blip when Burton got relegated again but always had his hands tied there.

Looks to have turned Mansfield back into promotion contenders in League 2.

Now won last 7 league games and won 13 from 15 in all competitions, with one of those being a 3-2 defeat to Boro in the FA Cup after a 95th minute own goal so not too shabby.

Should the writing be on the wall and nothing improves, it's a must for me to bring him in.

Dunno 100% tbh but I think most managers would providing they can also make their point for players to look at. That's something that defo needs to be on offer I'd guess.

I'd have liked to have seen his dad's reaction to the boards way of running Barnsley FC :D:D:D:D

I think the pool of managers we can entice is a small one if the reports are to be believed about the constraints they have to work under, I respect any manager that tells Conway to f**k off.

He’d be a good shout when we’re picking up the ruins left by these owners, whenever that’ll be (hopefully sooner than later).
Could be in L2 by then mind….

If Nigel Clough had his hands tied at Burton then it would be nothing compared to what restrictions he would have to deal with here , he is a well respected experienced manager & I would think he would not come near us with a 10ft barge poll & until the owners move I suggest we will be employing young foreign inexperienced coaches for the foreseeable future
