Hope he's not reading this board lol If he does sign. Get behind him. You never know. I get we want English league players but it's not this fellas fault. I'll judge him when I see him kick a ball
Touch and go but he might just scrape through. You need 15 points to qualify and he's helped by the fact that he'll automatically get 12 points for coming from a 'Band 1' league in 'Ligue 1'. Then he needs to be able to add on at least 3 points for the games he played for Nancy in 'Ligue 2', a 'Band 4' league, between January and May 2021 which he'll be able to as long as he played 60% of the minutes in those games (excluding any for which he was injured).
Was this bassin tapped up... Will he be a drain on the finance has he been brought in to plug a gap....interesting
I know they are trying to faucet thro in time, as I am privy to some information that is being drip fed to me from someone who is awash with transfer dealing info.
I think some of the comments on the lad are bang out of order, we know it is open season on the owners & rightly so they deserve every bit of stick they get however what we are getting now are potential signings getting bad mouthed before they even kick a ball , every player we sign should be given a chance , get a warm welcome & backing from the fans & fans should make their minds up when they have seen him but such is the toxic atmosphere currently that even potential new players are getting stick , it is totally unfair to anyone coming in .
Looks to have quick feet and an eye for a pass. Not bad at free kicks too. If he does sign, we’ll have to see how he copes with the physicality of the league.
Positive spin version. He's got better stats than Riyad Mahrez when he joined Leicester from a Ligue 2 club. Mahrez (age 23) when joined Leicester 60 Ligue 2 Appearances (6 Goals) Bassi (age 24) 5 Ligue 1 Appearances & 105 Ligue 2 Appearances (24 goals) If he joins then he'll get my unconditional support as all new signings do however I fear we don't or won't have the necessary shithousery around him to enable him to play. Let's hope he is joined by Bryan Largecock and Trevor Hairyarse.
Looks very Mike Bahre with his flicks and dribbling but hopefully has more end product .Good Luck to the lad.
