Don’t fancy the 50-60 mph crosswinds on the motorway and a spoiled game to follow. Spoiled by the wind and Bormuff re-discovering their form after a blip. You know - same as every team does when we are their next match. Really wish I hadn’t renewed my season ticket this year. I’ll be lucky to get ten games in (or UNlucky!)
You never know, heavy winds might throw Bournemouth off their stride… I’m going today as I can’t actually remember the last game I went to, the season passes are gathering dust.
November for me but missed loads before that. Only done 4 all season. I thought about going today but before this weather I'd already decide agaisnt it. Part of my hopes the passion returns as I used to love following us home and away.
Was going to ask today how many aren’t going. I’m not going today, not because of the winds but because I’m sick of the club ruining my mood. I’m not sure what it’ll take for me to use my season ticket again this season to be honest.
I’m not. The guys I go with have the Rona and I cba to go on my own to see us going down without a fight. Dodgy stream it is.
Hesgoals should be favourite today. Seeing as we are playing such a BIG club. just shows what rich owners coming in really can do - turned the perennial 4th or 3rd Division club into a successful outfit. I hate the idea of these people buying success but a bit of that coming our way would be nice.
Last game I went to was Hull It’s getting much easier on a Saturday morning to decide I’m not going but being a fan since the late50’s it hurts like hell after kick off
Hope the West Stand holds up, it should do nar they`ve put another coit of paint on it or some sticking plasters. West Stand, West Stand gives us a song, good to hev you back home.
My last game too. Not going back until they go. I accept that by then I may have totally got out of the habit, but still…
I think me and the lad went in November but to be honest I can’t fully remember. I didn’t go to the hull game as I went to twickenham to watch the rugby. EDIT Looking back, I was working the Friday of the West Brom game, my mate got married the Huddersfield game. I think we made the Swansea game; it would have been the Derby game before that. So we’ve been to maybe two games in three months. In fact I think we’ve only been five or six times this season. Missed as many as we’ve been to; can’t see that trend changing. I’ll be lucky to make the season passes be worth it over the match ticket prices. Most of the games missed have been due to work or other commitments; going forward I’ll not be desperate to move things around even where I can. It is so sad how much interest me and my son have lost, in the games themselves, not the club itself - and I know we are not alone. Can’t imagine a circumstance we will renew next season - unless we have a new owner.
