    Last week we had the short songs thread - including beauties by The Clash, Blur, The Undertones and The Rolling Stones.

    Tonight it's the turn of the 'long song'. I'll put two forward. Firstly, November Rain by Guns N Roses. Checking in at just under ten minutes, a bloated mess of solos, strings and Axl trying to write his Bohemian Rhapsody.

    Secondly, it's The Eagles and Last Resort. A beautiful piano ballad lasting over seven minutes telling us all how America is now ruined thanks to the rich, white man.
