Beth is an absolute diamond and does not deserve this. She does so much to help supporters groups such as Courthouse, East Dene etc… and has Barnsley FC running through her blood. Whoever did this should be banned for life.
Find out who they are and give their names to the court house reds, I'm sure some of their big lads would sort it. Idiotic morons attacking Beth is beyond the pale, Beth and her team are the most decent faces of the club.
What the hell is going through some fan's minds? Beth gives above and beyond for the club - no one should have to go through that! Hope there was CCTV knocking about so the perpetrators can be identified and banned
i agree fully. These arent people we want associated with our club. Also i dont think they are the type who would read or make sense from the trusts sensible messaging. But they would pick up on the opportunity to cause trouble when they have been given an excuse. I dont know what the Luke lad is trying to say but seems like it opens with the politically correct words not condoning violence then goes on to support that people can do what they want to protest and shouldn't be banned for it. I believe in protest and people voicing their opinions. How its done can be the difference between positive success and destructive failure.
I wonder where they came from though outside the ground during the game. People who came just to protest outside? Or people kicked out for fighting in the ponty end in the first half? Not that it makes any difference.cthryre still bellends
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that." George Carlin
Presumably there should be some CCTV in and around the offices and it is one of those incidents where it should be fully investigated. A minimum of a ban on these morons is needed, but, as someone said, are they even match attending fans, or just idiots out to cause trouble, since the incident occurred outside the ground during the match?
Does throwing lager around and verbally abusing and intimidating a member of staff in the workplace not constitute 'criminal activity' e.g. common assault ? Just asking as I do not know.
In a midweek post I joked about "Beth for CEO" and suggested a chant for Saturday...who in their actual right mind would offend Beth !!!! I fkn despair at some of our lot.... hope she's well and not too upset by these morons...
So from the Admin on that knuckle draggers group........ "We as a group don't condone any physical confrontation with any employees who are just merely working for the club ........... ..............To state that people should be banned for expressing there freedom of speech in my own opinion isn't healthy but also appreciate that people might not want to voice there opinions through chanting or other means But one thing we need to have is an acceptance of people been able to express themselves" Very strange statement and clear clear as mud. So whilst saying they don't condone the actions, they also don't seem to want to alienate anyone from the cause. We don't condone it, but crack on doing what u want under the guise of freedom of speech and expression.
Come on pal chill out, we can’t associate them with the group just because you disagree with it. For all we know they could be members of this board. And you really think they are bringing more shame on the club than the owners? Seriously? Luke is a top lad & a passionate supporter, just like yourself & wants the best for the club. To blame the Facebook group for a couple of brain dead idiots behaviour is wrong.
They don’t condone physical violence, as no one should. But yes they are right to say people have a freedom of speech against the current regime. It’s making people angry of course. It’s making me angry, and I follow the Facebook group, but I can control myself, just like the majority. It’s not the groups fault. It was always going to turn nasty. Just a shame a small minority have to go too far.
Quick question. Who's stoking the 'Conway Out' fire, being vocal about getting them out, and launching a takeover? Who spearheads that 'movement', as small as it might be? Who's on Twitter replying to club tweets about donating tinned food for food banks, with 'Can we throw them'? If you put yourself in the position of leading any kind of group, that doesn't just mean you get the pats on the back and the high fives. You're also accountable for anything negative as well. I'm only just reading about what happened yesterday but it's an absolute disgrace and one never seen in my lifetime. What an embarrassment.
this is where i get worried by any organisations ‘official statement’ if indeed it is on behalf of the Conway out thingy, which it implies. It clearly goes on to state comments as personal opinions from himself. Thats ok but is it representative of an individual or the org. This is why i am interested to really know who these messages represent.
