Do it next game. Best silent protest ever. And if anyone could knock up a new flag I would personally come up and replace that one. If anyone from the club tried to stop me that would be the best PR ever…. Imagine being stopped from showing some pride in your town.

It's a laugh, but it is also a symbol for the neglect.

To buy a flag of that size and quality it's no more than £150.

Showed my missus the video. Her first question was "why wasn't it flying at half mast?"

It’s a perfect metaphor for the state of the club

The yellow jack could replace it... Signifies stay away (originally used on cholera or disease plague ships). It could 'flag up' a second meaning in our situation at Oakwell though, one of total capitulation and cowardice by the owners who won't (can't?) put their own cash on the line and invest in the future.
Anyone who continues to believe the current owners have any good intent when it comes to BFC development is, I am sorry to say, delusional . Opinions cease to be opinions when hard evidence in the form of inaction at multiple levels stacks up. BFC literally has no future under the current stewardship.

I noticed it on Saturday. It would be better to fly no flag at all than to fly that rag.

I imagine a few of us will remember that flag with the legend "FA CUP WINNERS 1912".

I would suggest replacing it with this one

hmm.... looks dangerous that does. A frayed flag flapping about. Could easily tear and land on someone beneath giving them life altering injuries.

I'm sure the CEO will see this and do the right thing and close the West Stand immediately.

Surely the west stand is the safest place - if it flies off in the wind it will go straight into the East stand causing carnage there is a case for only opening the West Stand on flag safety grounds

Actually, perhaps the ground needs to be closed. It could go anywhere depending on the wind direction. Our CEO takes his responsibilities very seriously remember. Maybe even an exclusion zone of a mile or two around the ground just for good measure.
