At least 3 or 4 British based players with championship experience should have been in through the door asap early January bedding in.

The dee dars get a mister like Harley dean and even donny rovers can get Clayton. Yet what does this absolute shower do for our club and it’s fans ? Nothing no ambition at all.

Borats twin brother who may or may not get his visa stamped is here for a few months and an injured bloke from Watford who hasn’t played for months…..Jesus wept the quicker these get ran out of town the better. It’s that bad even one of the bad back brothers oooooomiback is killing me on £7k a week oulare is going back to Belgium on loan.

What a shambles of a club these locusts have turned us into. Supposedly these lot are high flying business people ? They couldn’t run a bath.

Only thing they are probably gutted about is Woodrow getting injured so they couldn’t flog him.

Has Conway pulled the string on the CEO’s back yet because the season ticket renewal begging letters will be coming out shortly and he will need to put in an Oscar performance.

Please can you give us money so we can use it to pay off our own debts !! Good luck with that and thanks for killing the club. Hopefully fans will vote with their feet in their thousands and not renew. Away games only.

Because they can hit the ground running without having to get used to being in a new country?

Every other club manages it though? I wouldn't care if they're from North Korea as long as they can run around a bit for us!

Because my friend only the circus we have running our club could sign players and then have to wait weeks on end for their visas to clear whilst your season ticket money pays their wages.

remember the bad back brothers we signed from Belgium. Conway got caught out giving the wrong reasons ? Unfit or no visas ready which was it.

oulare £7k a week or so he has milked from this club but I don’t blame him he will be laughing his head off at BFC. Blame the people who signed him.

this bloke from Metz will need a visa sorting but Conway and the CEO those astute international clever business people we have running the shop are all over it………so look out for him in the pre season friendly at frickley

I can understand this given our recent history to be fair. Surely going forward we won't have the same issues with Visa's after the belgian debacle? No excuses for the signing of Oulare mate, completely agree with you about blaming whoever it was who signed of on him joining us. Comedy club

Who knows, they may have been trying hard to get numbers in but I'm not at all surprised that they haven't been able to attract players who could make a real difference. We are so deep in the sh*t that I suspect very few players are willing to come, particularly at the wages we're willing to play. Consequently we've scratched around and managed to get these two highly speculative loans. The damage done in the summer continues.

It's like needing a new engine, brakes and tyres to get your car going back running near its best again and you try and make do with a couple of previously mothballed furry dice borrowed from your mate for a few months instead.

Tyke the tree frog you mention comedy club but them places are supposed to be enjoyable !!!!

These owners in my opinion are using the heart strings of a BFC a proud hard working class town to bankroll their own means. In the business world this is probably an every day occurrence but for fans where oakwell is a place to be with pals and family almost like a weekly pilgrimage is really what gets to me with what they are doing to us.

My dad has been going for around 65 years and a season ticket holder every year he’d be lost not going to oakwell with his pals it’s in his veins almost like going to church yet these owners are using that emotion of hardworking honest folk to take his and thousands like him season ticket money. He doesn’t want to give them a penny but will have to be forced to as it’s oakwell and he has to be there.

Club feels dead to me and the emotional connection is draining away each week as if it’s not our club anymore and that is the most depressing thing about it all.

Unfortunately I think this is what a lot of fans are feeling at the minute, and the lack of signings this window only epitomises it. It's like a chore watching us at the moment

My emotional connection is not draining away - and I've supported The Reds since the 1950s. I've just bought a ticket for the cup game at Huddersfield.

Donny in a similar position to us have managed to attract 8 signings I believe all British based so already ready to go and some have already played 3 or 4 games for them Barnsley FC on the other hand have one confirmed loan from overseas who needs a work permit sorting out so might not be able to play for weeks if at all.

Wolfe and Marsh doing well on Saturday probably convinced them that we're OK in midfield.

Now Wolfe has made his first start and Marsh a cameo, Khaled considers them experienced in championship football.

Wolfe and marsh at least have some heart for the badge fonzie ! I would throw marsh in from the start what harm can it do in fact throw a few more under 23 in till the end of the season.

but……..I doubt if poya even picks the team anymore because some of the team choices and tactics are barmy.

Cannot wait for the ceo or Conway to make some statements on the transfer window that will be enlightening no doubt !

minute they couldn’t get their mits on the land the master plan of theirs backfired it must be the only reason they are here for the land because the club is being ran into the ground on a major scale it’s beyond incompetent it’s measured. From 2 games away from the premiership to crewe away on a Tuesday night in the space of a few months ! Keep up the good work PMG

Very true stairfoot. Their fans must be pleased that they're at least having a go.
