When PMG et al took over, Conway stated it was to achieve stability in the Championship. The window that closed yesterday suggests that is no longer a concern of the owners. So what, exactly is their aim? The player trading policy appears to have stalled, so what is left?

A summer sale, begging letters to fans admitting they got it wrong but will try their very best to put it right, vegan flatbreads and dog turnstiles.

Looking at the other 27 clubs that they own I’d say their aim is to try to relegate them all, that’s the only thing I can think of because no consortium would carry on with a business model this siht if they’re trying to achieve anything else.

They are inept but despite some conspiracies, they are not doing it on purpose. Just very stubborn and sticking by their ever rigid plan. I also think their awful choice of managers this season has killed us. It starts from the top unfortunately. The board believe their system works after progression ever since Morais took us down. They’ll stick by that. Khaled could be the one to fall as he’s had a nightmare this season, just like the board. Unfortunately for him, the board have some kind of history of success. Khaled hasn’t.

There is another scenario. They might be trying to get promotion, develop to be international powerhouses in the footballing world, compete with Barca, Man Utd and PSG for the brand, attract players like Naymar, Messi, Haarland etc. Develop talent and loan them / sell them like Chelsea. Win trophies like Man City. The problem being - to put a positive edge on it, they aren't very good at it.

    They don’t have one.
    The longer version is:
We can’t get get our hands on the ground so sod it.
    Out look:
Expect to be playing Chesterfield again a lot sooner than you thought

The article about Conway owning a posh estate agents sums it up. The portfolio of clubs is just that. It's designed to make them money when a rich fuddy duddy decides to buy a football club. Here you go Mr Rich Fuddy Duddy pick from these. Oh Barnsley. Great choice. 30 million pounds. Cheers. Si Thi.

They aren't very good at it is an understatement mate. :)

They've taken a team in the Championship playoffs last season to the foot of the table in 7 months. 2 wins and 17 goals in 27 games...

but, despite losing on Saturday we hadn't lost at Oakwell for 2 months before that though.....
