There will be something in it for them, no doubt. Whether that translates into benefit to the club is another matter. But I wouldn't be surprised of the wages that we are currently paying Oulare, Schmidt, Miller, Kane and Aitchison would add up to a decent weekly amount. The contribution we'll still be making to Oulare only will be significant. The fact we have 4 players out on loan, and hoping to offload another seems strange in context of recently trying to get games postponed because of a lack of numbers.
Given his injury record, you'd have to think that a significant part of his contract was contingent on actually playing games i.e. appearance money. That would certainly explain why he hasn't been playing, and is suddenly now perfectly capable of playing for someone else.
