We used to concede the same goal every week. Hit the ball down the channels, none of our defenders anywhere near it, goal. Every week. That's not happening anymore. We're conceding now because Helik and Andersen are just not very good.
Oh I know there's no money. Just don't believe football club owners can't find what they need when they need it. See just about every club ever.
Don’t really need to pay him off. Put him on gardening leave. Install someone else. If he gets another job then or financial relationship will ends. If not yes we are paying for 2 HC but at least we might get one with a vague clue.
I don't think were giving him enough credit....he led us to victory against 10 man barrow...in extra time
To be fair, they are on at least 2 different continents and have other business responsibilities. I think it will be a positive thing if and when it happens, probably on Zoom or Teams. We don't know what the board are thinking, the court case doesn't help. The end of season review with the CEO and Heads of departments, will help with future planning and strategy.
The two different continents thing is irrelevant for me, as you say, Zoom and other technologies make it easy for them to attend virtually. I think the club is in crisis and that this meeting is important and urgent, particularly given that ST renewal letters will be sent out before long. If something is important enough business leaders prioritise it and find time for it. Accepting that it was going to be the 7th, I really hope it happens soon. If it doesn't my thinking will be that they don't consider us important enough to warrant it. And btw, in the recent interview with the CEO, again in imo he deferred to the end of season review far too often. Whilst it's right to do one then, it's a big mistake to put things off until then. Many things require more urgent attention. The flag situation on Saturday is one prime example, if things like that can wait, are being put off or ae not noticed at all then something is seriously wrong. There's a balance to be had in any management position between dealing with the present and planning / improving the future and the regularity of his "end of the season review" answers suggested to me that he is failing to deal with the critical and urgent stuff.
I think the difference regards the coach is, when you concede because of basic organisation of the side, like we did time and time again under Schopp, then the blame lies directly with the coach. Whereas Asbaghi is now suffering from very poor individual errors, rather than issues with how he's organised the side.
Didnt realise just how bad his record is won 0 Lost 8 Drawn 3 That is grim should have never been appointed another own goal by the owners. Were in a total dog scrap and we get a bloke with no fight who just stands there like a cut out. At least flicker pumped his chest and geed the players up. Not saying we should get rid now because its too late but end of season he needs to go.
I agree, we dont learn its definitely not what we needed in the middle of a relegation battle. Hopefully he has a clause were if we drop he is sacked. Surely they arent daft enough not to imply that.
I don't know, in the midst of what was already a very tough battle against relegation, I thought we were crying out for a coach with no experience of the The Championship in any capacity, no experience of English football in any capacity, no experience of playing professional football at any level, no experience of football outside Sweden in any capacity, and a managerial record at his previous club that brought significantly more defeats than victories for a team representing a city with a population of around a million who regularly play village sides. He seemed ideal. I suppose it's possible we could have hired someone with less experience of the position we were in, but I'm not sure where you'd find them.
Schopp last ten league games 2 points 17 goals conceded Poya last ten league games 3 points 14 goals conceded.
