I'm sorry, I've no idea what you're suggesting. You're surely not suggesting that our approach is like Liverpool or Manchester City?
https://tribuna.com/en/news/liverpo...have-used-it-to-their-advantage-explained-in/ https://www.goal.com/en/news/moneyb...-transfer-strategy/1xys03c1b33tq1gmg94xon8486 I have seen various reports saying that they want him to join Liverpool directly for the Red Sox and Liverpool FC. He could do this If I understand correctly because at 10% and not been a director that would be under the cap to avoid any problems. Liverpool has a guy that runs that at the moment and something I listened to recently from Billy Beane said he was a close friend.
Sorry Higgy, I simply don't follow what you're talking about. I suspect you are having some fun at my and others expense so I'm going to exit the conversation here.
From what’s been stated recently, we have a list of potential suitable signings for a position and work through it until we sign one. This may be why the recruitment takes a while, not necessarily that nothing’s happening. In previous seasons we’ve signed players that other teams are trying to sign because the player said they liked the set up at Barnsley and what the manager/ head coach was saying. Maybe that’s another reason players aren’t signed up quickly any more.
