This match reminded me greatly of when Barnsley had a cup tie in Worcestershire at Bromsgrove. We were rubbish in that match, Bromsgrove were deservedly winning 1-0 until the 89th minute. We scored twice in two minutes at the end to steal the tie. West Ham did a similar thing,
Sometimes I just hate football. Premier league players resorting to cheating to overcome a L2 side and then undeservedly winning it.
The player was behind the ball wasn't he? It's the player's position relative to the ball that matters and not the direction of the pass. You can still be offside even if the ball is played backwards if you're ahead of the ball when it is played.
