Agree Helen, although they'll have games against each other too. The fact that Derby (holed by the deserved points deductions), Peterborough (poor team) and Reading (both) were still catchable just brings into further stark relief the really half-hearted, lack-lustre January transfer window. The right signings, early enough in the month could have given us a real chance and maybe let us drag a Cardiff or a Birmingham in too.

Never gonna happen imo but if it did it would be great PR for the ownership. Warnock would definitely give us a lifeline

Young players will like any coach/manager if it means keeping their job. I would have thought you knew that

I suppose it could be an intentional leak to give the fan base something else to talk about. Maybe driven by the CEO attending the Conway out presentation at the Garrison? One of the main points was the lack of experience in the team and management.

Tow’d Colin has always spoken of his soft spot for us and it might be the case that he’s approached us? His final hurrah by achieving the unachievable!

Hopefully it’s got legs, which is more than our midfield have currently.

I've said this before (it might even have bee in this thread) but Colin should be approached on the grounds that he keeps us up if he can but his main objective is to toughen up our lightweight squad for the almost inevitable life in League 1 next season. That way there is no pressure on him to keep us up and he can just relax(!) and enjoy what will amount to a 7 month pre-season, then if he still fancies it after that then so be it!

I’ve accepted we’re down. I couldn’t think of a better man to get us back up though. Like everyone has said, fantasy land, but would love to see him be our gaffer next season.

When Conway finally gets interviewed he should be reminded of Warnock's cv and then asked directly why he wasn't appointed.

That’s an easy one, I’m sure he’ll have multiple reasons.
    Wage Structure
    Future Value
    Developing young players
    Not a snivelling yes man
Has some modicum of tactical nouse….etc etc
    Also likes Sherry and eggs!

Does he like an easy pink or sticky brown though?

I think you’ll need to ask Sharon for that.
He’s got 4 kids so you’d assume he prefers and nice easy pink.

Can Warnock get 12 wins from 17 matches?
