On Saturday there were many many reports of disgusting behaviour from Barnsley fans. Letting smoke bombs and flares off, smoking and drinking in the toilets, a video of TVs being ripped off walls etc. Generally behaviour that should be condemned by all. What is Khaled and Barnsley FC's response? It's to thank the fans for their behaviour at said game and give any of them who paid Luton to go there a reward is a voucher for free drink with no purchase necessary. Meanwhile season ticket holders who PAID Barnsley football club for £50 worth of vouchers did indeed get a voucher for a free drink but in order to redeem it we have to buy a pie. Am I missing something here? Are those making these decisions absolutely brain-dead? They're encouraging disgraceful behaviour by telling those doing it how good they are and giving them a reward whilst at the same time absolutely taking the piss out of those who financially backed the club when it needed it.
Yeah if I was them I'd be more worried about the 5k of missing season ticket holders at the last home game and likely next season too.
Obviously I took it to the extreme to make a point but surely you must see what I'm saying. When large numbers of Barnsley fans act like bellends and break multiple laws whilst attending the Huddersfield match you simple don't thank those fans for their wonderful support. You just dont
So 2,300 fans behaved disorderly and were all in one pub in Huddersfield, how many of the school children involved in the incidents will be at Luton
Just to get it right, Luton are paying half the cost. I really hope the fans that are there repay their hosts by exemplary behaviour.
I don't know how many of those in a pub in Huddersfield or drinking and smoking in the toilets will be at Luton. You seem unable to get my point so nevermind
