    The ceo complained about how the tactics of last season didn’t generate any bids for any players, how the style of play didn’t lead to success for them.

    There is also an interview with Conway showing (fully transparently, it wasn’t implied) he and the other owners influenced team selection at one of the other clubs they own.

    But no, you’re right.

    Everything that has gone wrong this season is nothing to do with them. It was Marcus Schopp coming in and doing it his way.

    Well, I say his way. He set the team up in a formation he’d never used in all his career. But yeah. His way.
