Unfair on Styles. Hes been asked to play in almost every position bar CH and goal and he can play them all well. To get the best of him and any player they should have some consitency in what they are playing though. Probably doesnt know his arse from his elbow at the mo as thats what hes getting from the person leading him (badly).

Also benson too - he was a different player in tbe first few games but had that conpletely knocked out of him by 2 inept managers.

Palmer has quality but just doesn have the work rate nor the desire imho. A bit lazy and half assed is what i see there but he could do it if he really wanted and someone lit the right fire inside him.

The closest he got to scoring a goal with a shot all night was pre game when one of his warm up shots hit a woman full in the face.

Styles proved he could play last season.
Palmer spent it hooking it over his head and little else and I'm not aware of anything of quality where he's concerned.
We do have some decent players but they're young, their heads dropped with no experience around them and they've had their confidence shattered by two head coaches who have constantly, and I do mean constantly, chopped and changed the team week in week out.
I don't see any way we'll get out of League One with Asbaghi's style.

I thought Benson linked up well last night first half and looked a threat going forward. I thought he was hung out to dry by the sudden change of formation and the subs.

Don't think he was ever premiership quality no disrespect to Burnley but if he was anywhere near that class they would have kept him. One of our many gambles in the summer that's not worked out big jump from 23s football to the championship.

Hume ,Mcgeehan, Wilkes, Thomas, Schmidt, Oulare, Iseka, Benson. I think there needs to be more due diligence when spending money on "marquee" signings. Just because they cost £1 million doesn't make them good. In fairness this has happened since before PMG with Hume and Mcgeehan. It should be a big thing for us to spend a million on a player. Money frittered away on crap.

I am not yet a fan of his yet but, he has done a bit better last few games and shown a bit more than earlier in the season, maybe he can still come good this season?, the manager seems to think so and I hope he’s right.......he is better than Palmer for me as well

I saw glimpses second half today, but he was definitely the weakest link in the chain by quite a margin in my opinion.

Totally agree mate, but maybe it’s a confidence thing because Asbaghi keeps picking him so he must see something in him, just think(obviously btw) that if he could just nail one of his long range efforts then he might be up and running, he supposedly were a good set piece specialist!, time for him to show us that definitely

Earlier in the season when he played in front of the defence and had all the time in the world to pick out his passes he looked very promising but playing in the middle I thought he looked like he just didn't fit in today, but it's been a crappy season and his confidence can't be high so I'll certainly cut him some slack.

Benson is just another player who needs to be playing regular league 1/2 football in order to aid his development. Some players have “it” from a young age & have the maturity & strength to step straight into a team at this level & above. Sadly Benson is a player who has undoubted ability, but needs to toughen up mentally & physically at a lower level. A couple of seasons down the leagues & im sure he’ll be a good Championship player in the future.

I don’t think he anything like Moncur at all, different altogether, he might not come good but he seems to be lacking belief and might be due to confidence, just wish he could knock one in top bins so to speak lol.....would make all difference that although perhaps stating obvious
