    I accidentally did. I was super tired one morning when doing a test before work and I accidentally swirled the swab around the liquid and THEN rubbed it on my tonsils. It tastes weird (certainly not like Lilt) which is what made me realise and then it started to itch and burn and made me cough like mad. Lots of rinsing my mouth out, and coughing, later and it was fine after an hour or two. Do not recommend.
