    Thanks for the update.

Does that mean that the East Stand will be something different every week, or will there be some items that remain constant? I know this is just me being weird but the thought of never knowing what there will be available or what it will cost worries me slightly and probably isn’t great for those with kids. I fully accept that I’m a strange fish though.

I agree. I wouldn't plan to eat somewhere where I've no idea what they sell.

I'm also a bit confused how local companies can take over the kiosks and sell different things if at the same time they say they can't sell something as simple as chips because they have to work with what they've got which is basically a pie warmer and a kettle

    Hi,

It will only be 1 kiosk on the East that is subject to the "Kiosk Takeover". We are looking at middle kiosk on the lower East.

    Thanks
    Lee

Can't wait until we are able to eat like a Fulham fan travelling away :D

Lee - I understand that your options may be limited but can we replace the current pie choices with proper food?

    Hi,

We are looking to offer a wider variety of food options. Our current pie supplier is Pukka and are a club partner. We want to get the balance right for our fans. The pie is still the most popular food across football stadiums.

    Thanks
    Lee

Not trying to be precious regarding this I just think there are lots of local options available.
I have no vested interest in this but Potters of Wombwell could provide such a more interesting choice.
I know it’s a personal opinion but curry (balti) shouldn’t be anywhere near a pie!

Got to agree with that last part. Lee's willingness to engage and to create a line of communication is excellent and really helps stop the frustration or at least limits it a little as regardless of how much he wants to help he's still limited because we're Barnsley not Man city but personally I find friendly communication one of the key things.

Pukka pies are the most overrated pies in England and the quality has gone down and down over the years but they're the big brand name so I get why the club signed up with them

I can do curry with pretty much anything , certainly pastry. This caught my attention though

When not watching The Reds I watch local (to Wetherby) non-league clubs such as Harrogate Railway, Knaresborough Town and Tadcaster Albion. Sadly, I have to say that the food they serve is much more appetising than I see at Oakwell: cheaper too e.g. Harrogate Railway. hot pork pie and a Bovril £2.90. The beer offerings also put Oakwell's to shame; suppose that should be the case for Tadcaster Albion as it is next door to Sam Smith's brewery and about 150 yards from John Smiths !

I agree with other posters it's a real shame that so little pride is taken in serving up decent refreshments at Oakwell. For me buying at Oakwell is a last resort.

You mean you don't think £4 at Oakwell for a pint of Carling is value for money :D

    It’s £4.80 isn’t it? But advertised at £4.20?

Surprised the chip butty from Saturday didn’t make the football scran Twitter account

I'm all for raising the bar on quality and variety of food on match day. I do wonder how many people asking for that are prepared to pay for it though? I cast my mind back to some of the responses to charging £5 for the flatbread, which would have comfortably cost £6/7/8 at typical street food vendors.

Did anyone have one of those double cheese burgers at Oakwell on Saturday? 1st time I've had one this season and I've got to say it was bloody lovely. There were even 3 pieces of bread, bit like a big mac.

You should do the home made steak pie, chips and peas they serve in the corner stand. Had one at the weekend. Its a great pie.

Glad you enjoyed the new burgers we did on Saturday, looking at a few new products over next few games.
    Thanks

Looking to do a special kiosk serving the same pie you had Saturday. Obviously pukka are a main club partner so can't role it out everywhere.
    Thanks
