    I suppose the Covid allowance is difficult to argue with, and the others seem sensible.

    You'd think that with covid hitting clubs' income for THREE seasons in a row now that the the league's response would be to tell clubs to spend less money that they don't have. Instead the decision has been made to allow them to lose more money.

    There isn't a club in the land who hasn't signed players since covid started so they can't use covid as an excuse for breaching the s&p rules. They chose to sign these new players knowing full well that covid exists.

    The league has no power to make the clubs do anything. The clubs vote and decide themselves

    It's gonna transpire, if it hasn't already, that the most successful clubs are the ones with the most creative accountants.
