There's folk on here not planning on renewing ST's, refusing to set foot in Oakwell till they're gone and you want to give them money for a brick. Not having a pop, but, fair play.....I admire your optimism.
I've had a brick at Oakwell for donkeys years and if someone wants one now why not ? We support BFC regardless of the owners.
The use of 'commemorative' suggests the brick is in memory of someone though and it's important to remember that reds fans will live collectively long after these current owners have departed. A brick in the wall is symbolic of that. And I don't know how much a brick costs but surely the owners aren't going to personally profit from that..
I thought you were going to say to brick the goal up so our opponents can't score...... Hang on a mo..... That means we can't score as well......... Haven't thought this through very well have I lol
£75 I believe. Just ring the club, they'll put you in the right direction. Re contributing to the owners comment Exiled. It was Ill thought out. Given why people put them in place.
Good morning sir Good morning, could I buy one of those commemorative bricks? Yes you can I'd try something like that
All the Didcot Reds have their own brick. The current Mrs Didcot Red got her's as a Christmas present a few years ago. Who says romance is dead?
You old romantic you. Where's my Christmas present luv? It's at Oakwell. I've got you a brick.... Eh???
For a second there, I thought you'd gone a bit Madness... Good morning miss Can I help you son? Sixteen today And up for fun I'm a big reds fan Or so they say So sell me a brick I'll be on my way.
You can buy a "brick" with an inscription on it on the outside of the Ponty. It's not actually a whole brick, just a bit that's put on over the real bricks. This is the one we did for my dad in 2004 when he passed away.
