Clearly out of his depth it’s painful to watch him get thrown under the bus week in week out.
Clearly the upper management seem to think he’s going to earn them a few quid, that must be the only reason he gets played.

It’s clear to see he is National league level at best. It’s just sheer negligence to keep on persisting with him when players like Hondermark are getting overlooked.

The club is rotten to the core at present, & despite a decent effort last weekend we are sinking like a stone & will end up stuck in the doldrums of league 2 before long.

If I was his Dad I would be fuming at the club. His parents will have spent years helping their lad pursue his dream of being a pro footballer. Imagine the pride they had when it all paid off and he got a professional contract. Imagine the pride when he got his first team call up. Now imagine the disappointment when he got played out of position, mis-managed, had his confidence shattered and gets talked about, weekly, online, as being crap, rubbish, useless, conference at best, etc…

Him being league 2 standard at best he's only himself to blame. Hope he's gone in the summer.

He's exactly the sort of player that would have benefitted from a season long loan. Instead we persist in playing him week in week out and watch as his career is systematically smashed to bits.

    Way to go, BFC...

Reminds me very much of RNL

Played when he wasn't ready by a lovely person of a manager to take the attention of his own failures then routinely played out of position when he needed taking out of the side and had his career completely ruined

‘He’s only himself to blame’ Really?
As a parent, I have spent hours, days, years, possibly thousands of pounds helping my lad pursue his ‘hobby’ of playing football. It was always obvious he would never make it as a pro, but it was all worth it to see him enjoy himself.
When young lads get signed up to academies, the fun gets stripped out of it, as they then become a potential cog in a money making machine. Looking for the next John Stones.
He’s been thrust into the first team, out of position, shattered his confidence because his employers refuse to dig deep and employ someone to do the job whilst nurturing him.
At Everton, Mason Holgate looked up to Leighton Baines and Ashley Williams and developed his game by learning from them. Jasper Moon gets ‘You’re the cheap option, now get out there and don’t let them experienced blokes get past you!’.
But he only has himself to blame for that mismanagement!!!
Dream on Dreamboy, stick to your covid stats.

I think the "he's been thrown under the bus" thing is wearing a little thin now' a dozen games back maybe but the errors he's making are akin to under 10's' the lad just isn't good enough not even for next season unfortuntely theres been no improvement at all...

All he had to do was kick it away, anywhere in the stadium, just away from danger. He trains most days, so really should be able to complete this basic task. If he's playing against better, more skillful players then fair enough, but to not be able to kick it. Maybe the pressure is too much for him.

    Moon made the mistake today.

In previous matches it's been Andersen, or Brittain, or Williams, or Helik, or Collins. The list probably goes on.

Why this mistake today becomes a matter of Moon being destroyed by being picked to play for the first team, I do not understand. He is supposed to be either a defender or a midfielder, and that's where he's been played. Plus he's 21, not 12 (I exaggerate) like RNL was.

Let's face it, he should have cleared that ball. Any footballer would hold their hand up and say they'd messed up - even in the friggin conference. It's done, we lost, and that's it.

To me the question is"why does someone always do it?"

    He's a kid.

He shouldn't have played the amount of games he has.

He isn't why we're bottom of the league.

He may be 21 but due to our policy of forcing young kids from other teams into our side he's never been blooded slowly like would happen at other clubs. Our transfer policy has stunted the development of many of our own grown youngsters to such an extent that at 21 we have player thrown in with zero experience.

At least he gets to throw it in with zero experience.

Jasper needs to find a yard of pace if he's going to make it at a decent level. And you can't blood someone into that.

Don't forget that Bobby Hassell had absolutely no pace but was one of our most consistent performers at the back for years

I would think to be able to kick a ball as a professional footballer, was a essential part of your chosen career

He’s nowhere near championship level right now and I’m not sure he will ever be but I guess he has time on his side.

Needs a couple of seasons in either league 2 or league 1. He’ll probably get the latter with us.

Hes 21 sibbick was 22, on sibbicks 1st season at 19 he got pelters by our fan base. I feel sorry for moon well out of his depth thrown in at deep end its not developing a player its throwing them under the bus should be loaned out to a league 2 side
