Could also mean we're a young team and we dont have a choice but to play him

Not sure it confirms that at all. We have to pick young players because we have a squad which includes a lot of young players.

Whilst I don't think they actively pick the starting 11 each week would you agree that the evidence does point towards interference from the owners with regards to applying pressure to pick certain players based on statistics?

The evidence to support this: 1. Multiple managers all shoehorning certain players into the team when everyone else is in agreement that it isn't the best choice. 2. Paul Conway admitted that they have done exactly this at another of their clubs.

We will have an idea tomorrow night because someone costing us a point with a mistake as basic as kicking thin air shouldn't even be on the bench.

I think the Sun may be looking for a headline writer.

I think there is an element of this going on. I used to think it specifically about Moon until Poya came in and dropped him. But I think the owners must have a say in the fact that players like Halme and Christie Davies (and previously Jordan Green, Bahre, Schmidt) have/had no resale value and were ultimately frozen out or sent out on loan. Perhaps Hondermarck will be another to follow suit, where most of us see the potential but he has consistently been left out. I would actually play Halme over Benson in central midfield from what I've seen of Benson. And I've seen enough of Halme to know he isn't a convincing midfielder, but he'd probably do a better job as things stand.

he’s brought a lot of inside info to the table over the years and looking at the mess we’re in, how come you’re so confident he’s talking bollôcks?

In today's other news, two plus two equals five.

These owners brought in Halme, Christie-Davies, Green, Bahre and Schmidt. Why would they then immediately freeze them out?

If the title of this thread were true, Moon would be starting in the back 3 instead of Williams.

Do you believe there's any evidence to suggest that our owners put pressure on their head coaches to play players they want them to play?

Werent the owners the reason we hardly played cavare and pinnilos after promotion under stendel as they were in there last year of contract and age? Those were the rumours at the time.

I don't think the title of the thread is strictly true, but I do think they have a say. It's a good question, why did the board sign ICD and immediately freeze him out?
