No that's not what I've read to be honest but perhaps you could be right. What I have heard is that he is specifically targeting the numerous US funded biolabs many of which are located close to the Russian borders. Perhaps he considers them a Russian security risk.

Your grandson isn't President of Russia, nor has he invaded a country. Why would you bother to draw a comparison?

I stand by what I said. I see people daily who worry about others seeing them as crazy, why wouldn't I stand up for them? You can do bad things and not be mentally ill.

And unless anyone on here has conducted a full psychiatric assessment of Putin, I wouldn't be making that leap.

And mental illness isn't a "learning problem". Learning disabilities and mental illness are two separate things, that's why we have nurses (like me) who specialise in one or the other. There are 4 main types of nursing qualification- adult (general), child, mental and LD.

If that were the case why wouldn't Putin say so rather relying on flimsy pretences?

Because he's pointing out that you shouldnt tar mentally ill people with the same brush and necessarily make links to people doing bad things.

I think it’s very hard to rise to the top of any country especially one which is a dictatorship and then keep control for 20 years without being mentally unwell in some way - delusional/paranoid and lacking in empathy at the very least. You can’t tell me it’s normal to think that you have the right to invade another country like this.

Sorry but I stand by my point too, why can’t you say that somebody is crazy if you think they are and as in this case if you name them.
Nobody is saying all mentally ill people are evil .
As for a full psychiatric assessment , there would be very few posts on here if you had to get official proof of your opinion before you post it!
People said Hitler was mental, but to the best of my knowledge nobody has transferred that point to a mentally I’ll individual.

I'm led to believe that NATO overwhelms the Russian very significantly, so I'm reckoning Putin will go no further. If he does..... blimey!!

If you can't see how people looking at someone doing something bad and explaining it as saying they are mentally unhinged, crazy, a loon etc and not think how that might feel to a loved one suffering and worrying about telling a parent etc then i cant offer any more. Ive said what i think, im not going into it any further. Agree to disagree.

You don't have to listen to what I hear pretty much every day from people scared to tell mum and dad.

Because your sense of right and wrong (and mine) is so embedded it seems the like the actuons of mad man. But consider world but 2 centuries ago. Empire building was the ambtion of all great nations, and none better at it than ours.
Its not proof he is mentally ill. The more terrifying possibility is that his value set is fundmentally different you yours/ours. Imperial conquest to him is no wrong. Winning is all that counts. Soldiers dying for the new Empire is a form of glory to him.

They're a deterrent from having your own country attacked. The only reason Putin hasn't been wiped out by NATO this month is because he's threatened to use his nukes but similarly he won't attack the UK because we have nukes. However they don't in any way prevent a country from attacking anyone else as we are seeing. It's all pathetic really and anyone who defends the stockpiling 9f nuclear weapons as a deterrent is no better than a gun nut in America having a gun to deter bad guys with guns.

I've no idea if Putin is, or isn't, mentally ill, but he clearly isn't 'all mentally ill doing bad things', so Im not sure why someone would even bother to draw a comparison between your average person suffering mental illness and a man who is unchallenged in his power over a country of nearly 150m people for 23 years, has and has carried out multiple invasions of various countries in that time, carrying out some horrific crimes.

It's obvious to me you have no one in your family that suffers from this illness. It's a F******* illness. Putin has no such illness.
And don't ever present my grandson in the same bracket as the president of Russia you have just made my blood boil and that has not happened for many a year last time that happened -------------------.
