    I had a beige Hillman Avenger and a white Vauxhall Chevette. The two worst cars ever made.

    Can't think of any songs mentioning these heaps of rust...

    I had both them :D
    The Avenger was a 1500 and tbh was a pretty decent motor.
    The Chevette looke as good when I sold it as when I bought it! Mindst I was pretty handy with the filler and paint in those days! Traded it in at a garage so didn’t feel guilty really !

    One morning on my way to work (I'm ashamed to say that I was probably still over the drink limit from the night before) in the Avenger, a car stopped in front of me and I didn't. The car in front was (ironically) a Hillman Hunter. I cracked his reversing light lens whilst the entire metalwork in front of the radiator of the Avenger was a heap of rust on the road.

    My Chevette was only 3 years old when I bought it and both doors were patched up with filler, you didn't sell yours to a dealer in Tinsley by any chance?
