I like the cornerstones of what they/ P Cryne brought to the club Post Wilson sacking.

Largely it's a continuation of what they did.

It's funny because I remember the J Cryne was picking the team BS. We had the same nonsense recently. I see Posh fans are blaming Darragh for the same thing.....

    Football fans....

The thing is though. Generally speaking people weren't claiming that James was picking the team. People were claiming, rightly, that he was interfering and heavily involved in picking the players we signed. The reason people claimed that? His dad told us he was. Oh and because he was. His dad then denied that it was the case and made claims that fans were accusing his son of picking the team and many people believed the myth that it's what people were claiming when it wasn't. People were actually right all along

With regards to the difference between then and now. Paul Conway has publicly admitted interfering with team selection at another club.

Oh and also their attitude to fans has been disgusting

I respect that, but I do believe for a lot of people, there is a correlation. And for me, that's part of the reason why these protests wont work. There's no consistency, or long term plan to get the message clearly across.

I agree with you. Cryne also said he hadn't offered Winnall and Hourihane contracts because he knew they wouldn't sign them. He also stressed they wouldn't be sold even if it meant the club lost money. When January came he told us the club had made Hourihane a deal to be the highest paid player in the clubs history. Hourihane rubbished these claims. Take anything related to the Cryne dynasty with a pinch of salt.
