    Abramovich still owns the share capital of the club and now the Trust will manage the club. In theory that will mean the Putin lover will play no part in the running of the club which in practice I very much doubt. The club could still be siezed until a share transfer takes place. It’s up to Abramovich and the club whether he would claim his £2b back.

    There was 1 oligarch not mentioned in the 35 an Alexander Termako maybe because he as donated £1.3 million to the Tory party and paid £100,000 for a Bronze bust of David Cameron placed in Londons exclusive Carlton club, David Cameron was P.M. when Termako got British citizenship, he held a senior post in the Russian Defence Ministry in a past life.

    Buying trophies isn’t doing more for English Football than anyone else as he infers .

    We used to compete with Chelsea. More often than not, we beat them. Long before we beat them in a one off FA Cup quarter final.
    Sods law, they get billionaire ownership who inject a billion then leave without wanting their billion back.
    And we get billionaire* ownership who borrow £750k from the club they bought.
