If this is how the women and the local council feel why didn't they act like this when he was playing for them just over a month ago? Why does it take him leaving the club and being signed again? I think Clyde will be releasing him again seems as they have no female team, can't play him in home games and will not have a ground for next season.

Because it all kicked off at Raith, people/organisations with connections to Clyde etc look passive on sexual abuse if they now don’t make it kick off at Clyde.

It’s saving face, they should have kicked off sooner.

And yet he was found not guilty or not proven in a court of law.
A civil case was brought against him and a judge subsequently found him guilty.

And that does make me feel uncomfortable. A civil case, a 51% burden of proof - essentially who does the Judge believe is 'more likely' to be telling the truth.

Very different from a criminal conviction.

Meanwhile Shamima Begum has had her Passport taken off her and been stripped of her British citizenship without going anywhere near a British court, and I’m going to guess many of those sticking up for Goodwillie as someone who never got a criminal conviction won’t see the irony when asked about Shamima would without hesitation support her exile.

    Sweeping generalisation there Wakey.

If you can be bothered if you search back you'll see that I expressed a similar concern in the threads about her.

I never mentioned you specifically precisely because I didn’t presume to know your particular viewpoint.
