It's not inconsistent, it's an entirely different thing. I would be very wary of donating, and personally would never give money to fund an army, however good their intentions may be. I would steer clear. At the very least you shouldn't feel any pressure or obligation to give your money.
Ha, I didn’t like it actually! Didn’t you have to click every single reply to read it? I have memories of clicking them and loads of times there’d be no content, just the title of the post and ‘n/t’. I was a bit young then though and got confused easily, took me ages to work out n/t meant ‘no text’
Yes you did in the old versions and the n/t was very annoying but there are also versions where they're always shown so like this view but with some replies stepped in a bit and some where hovering over a message would show it instead of clicking. Kinda curious what you thought n/t meant now
You’re right I should. I’ve just stated that what I ‘think’ is a fact. No different to Johnson or anyone on social media. Anyway, SuperTyke has backed me up – which proves it’s a fact. We’re speaking on behalf of oppressed posters everywhere. If we had threaded views, this board could donate £350 million a week to the NHS. Another fact. And we'll finish the season on 99 points. What more does anyone want? GET THREADED VIEWS DONE!
I prefer large threads, more often than not it seems like it's the more boring posters who start their own threads because they think their tedious opinions require a separate space.
I didn’t have a clue! I knew that whenever it said it, there was no content but I didn’t know what the letters actually meant.
From Time.com. “Ukraine is a country,” says William Taylor, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine from 2006 to 2009. “The Ukraine is the way the Russians referred to that part of the country during Soviet times … Now that it is a country, a nation, and a recognized state, it is just Ukraine. And it is incorrect to refer to the Ukraine, even though a lot of people do it.”
Speaking of names being pronounced wrong in my head loko has always been pronounced like Coco pops but surely it's Locko?
Thats how I've always thought of it but whenever I think about it logically I wonder if it's Locko and I've just been saying it wrong for years. Come on @Loko the Tyke help
Apologies if my response came over as belligerent and patronising - that wasn't my intention! I had put a couple of laughing emojis at the start to try to highlight that some posters were becoming obsessed with the grammar but the emojis didn’t appear. Note sure I’m the one the needs to chill out though based on your response.
I didn't see the emojis otherwise my response would have been quite different! I felt like I was being targeted/misunderstood, not just from you, in this thread. Thank you for clarifying for context. I do apologise, and hope you accept my apology. It was a bit knee-jerk and an emotional reaction. Have a good day mate
No worries mate - again apologies that it came over that way. And really appreciate your sincerity. I’m often uncomfortable with some posts and replies on the forum and not certain about the intent or tone and have reacted too! Have a good day mate.
Thanks mate, and likewise appreciate your understanding. I know what you mean about tone etc and sometimes people take things the wrong way (as did I with my response). But it's never my intention to make enemies with people or fall out, especially on here (my fellow reds ). Thanks again bud, and have a good one too.
