Quina, Bassi and Gomes on different levels completely to everyone in that squad.

Difference in touch, time on ball, spacial awareness, decision making is massive.

Styles and Brittain were terrible last night. Offered zero going forward and defensively. Pushed off the ball, loose passes. Brittain was torn a new one down our right hand side in the first half.

overall a decent performance but some of our lads need to wake up and have a look around at the loan players to draw a comparison in quality. Also in effort. Bassi and Quina ran there socks off yesterday. Top effort lads.

You're right that the loanees are our best players by a stretch, but harsh on Styles and Brittain last night.

    No it isn't.

    They were absolutely awful.

Quinna scored a cracker but his contribution otherwise was poor.

I disagree on that. Thought he tried hard to get the ball moving forward and was continually fouled.

That is your opinion , in my opinion Brittain was much improved & taking Styles off cost us 2 extra points last night, the longer the match went the more & more work in front of the back four was done by Sryles, he got some great tackles in & broke up the play on numerous occasions , Bassi was going through the motions at this point & was clearly knackered & should have been replaced but once Styles went off the back four were more exposed & that was proven with their equaliser which should have been cleared

I thought it was a poor performance from Styles. He wasnt lacking in effort, but nothing came off for him. Same as Brittain etc.

Thought he spent more time going to ground trying for free kicks than trying to create owt by fair means. Got robbed of possession a fair bit.

The difference with Quina and the rest of our squad is that even when he’s having a relatively poor game he can still make the difference with a bit of skill or a goal from nothing like last night.

I voted for Quina just because he actually did something that had a positive contribution.

There was a lot of collective meh throughout the team. I thought the defence were poor conceding a lot of chances that we should have been punished for. The midfield were largely absent and gave the ball away a ridiculous amount and Morris was isolated though he tried.

I think Brittains demise is staggering to be honest i really expected him to kick on this season but he’s gone so far backwards it’s unreal.

It's pretty worrying, he was one I was looking forward to seeing develop this season.

When he was near me they were definite fouls, the ref and linesman gave us nothing last night, of he'd been in a green shirt he'd have got them!

He has offered us something wide last season but am not one for thinking he is a central midfielder.

Agree 100%. You’d never know he was the same player that was so impressive last season. He now looks every inch the full back who wasn’t offered a new contract by mid table L1 MK Dons.
No end product going forward and defensively a liability.
