This morning whilst out doggy walking I disturbed a pure white pheasant.
It flew out of the field about 20 yards in front of me and I watched it for about 5 seconds before it went out of sight.
It made the usual panic call as it flew.
I feel particularly blessed for seeing it.

Lived in this area all my life 64 years and it’s the first one I’ve seen too, sadly it just reflects that there are too many grey squirrels and lots of inbreeding resulting in a white squirrel there have been all black ones but this reflects the same
