Great talent, we need to look after this kid. Spots danger from very early on in a move, which you can't really teach. Composed on the ball and has a great turn of pace. Fantastic tenacity and aggression.
I think his aggression is a touch over the top sometimes. Like that swipe tonight, if he’d have connected, it would’ve been another cheap booking. He is definitely a talent though. Offers us drive from central midfield. Does the simple things extremely well too.
I thought he looked absolutely shattered in the first half, he looked like he was sweating like hell and looked proper leggy but the second half a thought he did a good Job. He’s a great prospect and I’d try and get him on a longer contract
Yes he is. Signed a two year deal after the escape under Struber. Hopefully he’s been offered a new deal.
Just needs to work on his distribution a bit more, a couple of times tonight he made good runs forward then proceeded to kick it straight to a Bristol player.
We won’t offer any new deals until we know what league we’re in. His agent will no doubt be touting him around in the meantime.
It wasn’t a swipe. Was an attempt at blocking a ball on a dangerous counter and he was nowhere near the man. Every hard tackle is a yellow if it connects and he wasn’t in any danger. Another superb performance. He’s a huge reason for our upturn in form. His presence and calmness in midfield give us something we haven’t had with any other player this season. One of few positives in the last nine months but a big one.
He got away with the swipe but I loved why he did it because city were just about to break on us and a booking wouldn't have been too bad under the circumstances.
Totally agree but Palmer could still play a part in us staying up so we need to keep behind him till the end of the season.
