Isn’t it two men down? He always appears to play for the opposition… giving them 12 players and us 10.

I`ve got poor lung capacity but am still positive I could blow Quinna over. Him and Bassi are talented but cheat like fek.

If you really didn’t see Quina go down a few times and not get a foul (foul or not) you need to go to specsavers

Funnily enough I didn't mean every single time. However he did go to ground extremely easily and got a lot of fouls that even our Barnsley commentators admitted he 'bought'

It also costs him some decisions by going to ground too easily.

To the point where refs get used to him and he will win **** all for either.

Yes, the ones in the box. There isn't a ref in the country that will give us a penalty while he's dropping like he's been shot every 5 minutes.
Lad needs to concentrate on playing football.

That's a really poor post - putting the blame on one man. We all know the Board is to blame for the situation the squad/ head coaches have been put in this season.

That said, I guess there'll still be apologists for them on here.

Unfair. Palmer can't be the scapegoat for today. Basically we're useless away.

I had no problem with the ref. I watched the match on TV, most of it with no commentary so wasn't influenced by either a commentator or the crowd around me. Can't think of a single decision that had a bearing on the result of the game or one that was clearly incorrect given to either side.

Sheff Utd scored their first from a freekick, but it was definitely a foul and a freekick.

I agree bud, I don't think it would have changed the scoreline. (I thought I said this in this thread, but it was in another, my bad). But some of the soft fouls given... Do you really think we gave away 19 fouls? Dubious at best, alot of them

And some of the ones we didn't get (even some that I dont think were actual fouls), seemed equally as 'bad' as some of the fouls we gave away.

Whilst none of his decisions influenced the outcome of the game, there was a clear bias towards the home team.

A lot of the 'soft' free kicks were given to United, but not to us. I do think United managed the game very well after going in front to be fair.

One decision that really baffled me was, there was a cross into the box late on, and Morris misjudged the pace of it, so couldn't get a first time shot away, and the ball harmlessly drifted towards the far corner flag. He had one defender in attendance, but stood a good yard or so off him. The referee gave them a free kick. The linesman didn't flag for offside, so I have absolutely no idea what he gave it for.

As you say, he didn't influence the outcome of the game directly, but surely the frustration of decisions mainly going one way eventually impacts our performance.

Personally I don’t think it’s the worst ref we have had against us this season but not sure if anyone else noticed at the end of the game whilst most players shook the hand of the officials one Sheff Utd player and the ref embraced with a hug?

family, related? Not sure but certainly some connection.
