I liked it, but the fitting of it was very much of its time. I reckon these ones will have a more 'modern' fitting.

I'm currently wearing the sample. In large. Lovely fit for me at 12st and a beer gut.

This is shirt one. There'll be others to follow in the future.

Why can't they make the shirts longer? My XXXL 18/19 shirt fit perfectly and wasn't tight. However, it didn't come down far enough over my belly. To compensate I'd have to buy an XXXXL but that would bury me. I have the same problem with Asda, Tesco and anywhere else. Only place a XXXL seems to be a proper XXXL is jacamo.

Dunno buddy. I don't make clothing. But this retro shirt we are talking about goes up to 5XL apparently. I've got the sample they sent, it's a large (I'm 5'10" tall and 12 stone in weight) and it's a perfect fit. Not tight, not baggy. Best I can say considering I know nowt about clothes, or fashion.

I've seen a couple of the Wednesday ones terrace did, as I've family who support them, and they seem good quality.

This announcement couldn't have come at a worse time for someone like me, who has a fine collection of football shirts. I made a promise just last night to the Mrs, that once my Hallam FC shirt arrives, I'm not buying any more football shirts!

I am incredibly partial to our 90s kits though, particular the ORA ones. They remind me of a happier time (football wise).

I remember wearing the original one for the first time on a boiling hot day away at Palace (from memory, Adrian Viveash's debut and possibly the only time he played for us?)

The elasticated collar at the front was incredibly tight and uncomfortable in hot weather, so it quickly got 'snipped' for comfort. I think some of the players may have done the same that day too.

Hot, sticky weather and Palace away seemed to be a thing at that time. 95/96, the game towards the end of the promotion season, and our first ever away game in the Premier League (and first win!). All in tropical climates, at least as far as UK weather goes.

I had a similar obsession during lockdown 2020. I was in a bidding war on ebay for a pristine edition of the Rangers shirt that Gazza wore. I got to £150 before I bailed out.

I only wear them for five a side.

The 1991 Spurs shirt is my favourite. Got that for £75.

Nearly landed on a Cameroon 1990 shirt recently, but the bids were astronomical so again, I bailed.

Would you be a large in our current shirts? Just wondering how they fit in comparison. I find our Puma shirts a little on the smaller side so go up a size

Size wise how would you compare to our modern shirts? For example I wear medium which is a nice tight fitted shirt for me, retro's usually run a bit big so thinking I should get a small for similar fitting?

I'd be a large in the current shirts, but a little more snug. I think they're made to cling a little these days aren't they?

This 95/96 large shirt fits me like the old one originally did. Not too baggy, but not tight either. A good fit. The old ones usually are.

We are getting some in the superstore so I guess folk can try them on.

If they're a success, more will follow, as Terrace already have the designs of a home shirt and another classic away shirt from that same era.

100% agree SD. Being 6'4" with a fairly long body I often have to buy XL shirts to prevent acres of unsightly midriff being on display. Mind you if I keep on eating buns I'll need XL anyway.

Lovely shirt just don't get why reproductions are popular. Surely if you were to wear a replica shirt of our club you'd either wear the current kit or one you bought yourself years ago that you've memories of.

I'd be interested in a home shirt from the Prem season, since I was 11 at the time mine doesn't fit me any more.

Whilst I liked the colours I really hope it’s better comfort and quality than the original, awful to wear thin and cheap, some nice touches could be added to the collar etc the in pattern sponsors whilst not coming off look tacky

I missed that game as I was traveling back from Yarmouth.I tuned into the radio at full time and the reporter said "Barnsley came on to the pitch looking like Inter Milan but proceeded to play like Inter Flora"
