The white rose badge was Allan Clarkes doing.

    Interesting fact for you.

For some reason that white rose screams Leeds... I know we're in Yorkshire but that white rose means nothing to me as a Barnsley fan.

I've heard he wanted to change it. What amazes me is how long we had it.

I'm all for a new badge, don't like council badge doesn't look footballey enough, boring looking, other clubs look better than ours that's just me though, I would have the white rose put into some sort of badge we are yorkshire after all.

I've always liked the club having the town's crest as it's badge. It represents the town & the club, a perfect match for me.

I like the oakwell badge - but likely influenced by the fact that it was the one we had when I started watching as a kid in the early 80’s.

For me too. Current badge is classy - a proper crest.

When you look at some of the rebadgings that have happened in recent years (Sheffield Wednesday) you realise how good our’s is.

I like the idea but wish it was simplified a little to make it easily identifiable. Or at least on kits it should always be one colour like on the away kit

Something like this with our logo and sponsor would be perfect

I'd love us to go back to Umbro. I've always liked their gear plus Umbro did our greatest ever shirt.

A simplified, two colour version would be great. Or a simple version of the well and oak leaf. A bit like Forest or Wolves.
